It's going to be strictly shorts and flip-flops for our annual sunny summer excursion to Brixton beach. With highlights like West Coast Housemeister Joshua at the controls it's sure to be hot and sticky so get your tan topped up and your lounger in position – we've been digging this kind of laid back groove since well before the Germans arrived on the scene.

JOSHUA (Om, Tweekin, Seasons, Visual)

Joshua is the absolute definition of San Francisco House Music.
Discrete, funky, dubby and always out there.  Growing up in San Jose, his regular trips to Chicago saw him hooking up with Ron Trent's Prescription and Cajmere's Cajual labels.

With well over 100 releases bearing his name, Joshua's production and remix work is respected and in demand worldwide. He's often seen playing with his partner Diz, supporting their releases on Cassic, Aesoteric, and Seasons

He has recorded projects and remixes for labels such as Junior Boys Own, Ubiquity, OM, Nightshift and NRK. Joshua has recently started his own imprint: Vizual. Mixing a myriad of influences, from heavy Jamaican dub to Detroit techno

MILES SAGNIA (Living City, Aesthetic Audio, Amospheric Existance)

From winning a Mixmag DJ competition to the Circo Loco World Tour, Miles' deliriously deep take on house and techno has earned him residencies

at Turnmills and guest spots across the world and a loyal following. One half of 'Living City', his production credits include remixes for The Orb and one of the stand-out tracks on Eddie Richards' Fabric 16 mix CD. He's recently been signed to Keith Worthy's Aesthetic Audio Imprint in Detroit.

MARC ASHKEN ( Leftroom, Fear of Flying)

Following the success of his underground Noodlearm Shindigs, Marc has been busy in the studio honing his own warm take on minimal tech. His first album, Have You Seen My Dancing Shoes? on Leftroom was been throwing shapes on dancefloors all over the UK so we just can't wait to hear the treats he's keeping up his ramen-shaped sleeves.

RICHARD GREY (Rescue Recordings)

He's the underground party legend who's reputedly never dropped a beat and can always be counted to deliver seamless jaw dropping quality. If that sounds like a big build up, come and check out the man who is, these days all too seldom seen where he belongs – riding the wheels of steel.

GRANT DELL (Tribalation, Uhuru Beats, Headtunes

He's got over 50 releases to his credit and played all over the world, but he's most at home back at our house. Grant's sure to be ripping up the floor with hia inimitable stomping take on groove infused tech-house that's helped define a whole genre.

L.E. BASS (Cy-cle, Harmonic)

Since the legendary Ericcson parties over a decade ago Louise has been serving up low-slung beats and perky grooves that constantly delight and surprise. She's become our perennial party girl.
